Source: Wikimedia Commons According to Baker Hughes Inc (NYSE:BHI), America's operating oil rig count fell down by four last week to 631 for its 28th consecutive weekly decline. Not nearly as steep as last weeks decline, but a sign low oil prices are still curtailing spending levels. Some have pointed out that maybe America's oil rig count is starting to level off, but it could be just a one-off event [like it was a few weeks ago when it fell by just one]. We will have to see.
